Overview

The Peripheral Co-ordinator is responsible for managing and coordinating all outsourced and in-house peripheral processes such as embroidery, printing, washing, and other value-added garment processes. The role ensures timely execution, quality compliance, cost control, and smooth coordination between production, vendors, and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Coordinate embroidery, printing, washing, and other peripheral processes as per production plan
- Liaise with internal departments (Merchandising, Production, Quality, Planning) to ensure smooth workflow
- Follow up with external vendors and in-house units to meet delivery timelines
- Ensure samples, approvals, and strike-offs are completed as per buyer requirements
- Monitor quality standards and ensure compliance with buyer specifications
- Track input and output quantities to avoid shortages, damages, or delays
- Resolve production or quality issues related to peripheral processes
- Maintain accurate records of job cards,



delivery challans, and process status
- Support cost control by monitoring process rates and wastage
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and buyer compliance standards

Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelors degree (Textiles / Garment Technology preferred)
- 3-7+ years of experience in embroidery, printing, washing, or garment processing
- Strong knowledge of garment embellishment and finishing techniques
- Understanding of production planning and merchandising workflows
- Ability to coordinate with multiple vendors and teams
- Good communication and follow-up skills

Preferred Skills

- Experience working with export garment units
- Knowledge of buyer quality standards and audits
- Familiarity with ERP or production tracking systems
- Solid problem-solving and time-management skills
