Position Title: Aerospace CAD Engineer UAV Design

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace CAD Engineer to join our UAV development team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Creo and hands-on experience designing complex UAV platforms, including fixed-wing, multicopter, and hybrid VTOL aircraft.

This role requires a practical engineer who understands not only CAD design but also how components are manufactured, assembled, and used in real-world conditions.

Roles & Responsibilities

- Design and develop UAV platforms including fixed-wing, multicopter, and hybrid VTOL configurations.
- Create detailed 3D CAD models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using Creo.
- Develop complex aerodynamic surfaces and advanced UAV geometries while maintaining manufacturability and performance requirements.
- Design composite structures, airframes, and lightweight aerospace components.
- Collaborate with aerodynamic, structural, manufacturing, and systems teams throughout the product development cycle.
- Perform design optimization for weight, strength, manufacturability, and cost.
- Support prototype development, testing, and design iterations based on flight-test feedback.
- Create and manage advanced FEA models to validate structural performance and design integrity.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering or mechanical engineering with experience in UAVs.




- Minimum 2 years of professional experience using Creo for aerospace or UAV design.
- Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience working on UAV platforms, particularly fixed-wing and VTOL aircraft.
- Strong understanding of aerospace structures, composite materials, manufacturing processes, and material selection.
- Experience creating complex surface models and aerodynamic geometries.
- Proficiency in advanced assembly modeling, top-down design methodologies, and engineering drawing creation.
- Experience developing and interpreting FEA models for structural analysis.
- Strong understanding of aircraft design principles and UAV integration challenges.

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience taking UAV designs from concept through prototype and production.
- Familiarity with composite manufacturing methods and tooling design.
- Knowledge of aerospace design standards and best practices.
- Experience working in rapid-paced product development environments.
