Job Title: Senior Design Engineer - Electrical Experience: 3-4 Years Industry: MEP (Mechanical, Electrical Plumbing) Location: Bangalore Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Electrical Engineer with 1-2 years of experience in the MEP industry.
The candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, drafting, coordination, and execution of electrical systems for commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles, MEP standards, and project coordination.
Key Responsibilities Assist in the design and development of electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, earthing, and lightning protection systems.
Prepare electrical layouts, schematics, single-line diagrams (SLDs), and detailed drawings using AutoCAD/Revit.
Coordinate with MEP teams, architects, consultants, and project stakeholders.
Support load calculations, cable sizing, voltage drop calculations, and equipment selection.
Review project specifications, BOQs, and technical documents.
Participate in site visits, inspections, and project meetings as required.
Ensure compliance with local electrical codes, standards, and safety regulations.




Assist in preparing technical reports, project documentation, and as-built drawings.
Support project execution teams in resolving technical issues during construction.
Required Qualifications: Bachelors Degree/Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
3-4 years of experience in MEP design, consultancy, or contracting.
Basic knowledge of electrical design standards and MEP coordination.
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage.
Familiarity with electrical calculations and design documentation.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Skills: Knowledge of HT/LT systems, lighting design, and ELV systems.
Understanding of workflows and MEP coordination.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
Robust analytical and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to project requirements.
