We are looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Assistant Manager Regional HR to oversee and drive end-to-end human resource functions across our assigned regional branches. The ideal candidate will manage talent acquisition, employee retention, regional HR operations, and engagement initiatives while ensuring alignment with corporate strategies.
Key Responsibilities
1. Talent Acquisition
- Sourcing: Source high-quality candidates through diverse channels, including campus recruitment, job drives, employee exchanges, and lateral hiring.
- Selection & Interviewing: Screen candidate profiles for role fitment and coordinate interviews with respective hiring managers.
- Offer Management: Negotiate salary packages effectively to ensure maximum offer-to-joining conversion rates.
- Headhunting: Map and proactively contact competitor talent for strategic lateral recruitment.
2. Employee Retention & Performance
- Attrition Management: Implement proactive measures to maintain regional attrition levels below 5%.
- Exit Analysis: Conduct formal exit interviews and analyze feedback data to continuously improve retention strategies.
- Performance Tracking: Track, monitor, and ensure the timely completion of performance scorecards for all regional employees.
3. HR Operations & Compliance
- Daily Operations: Oversee day-to-day HR operational workflows at the regional level.
- Grievance Redressal: Address and resolve employee grievances effectively, fostering a fair work workplace.
- Logistics & Attendance: Ensure timely attendance management and facilitate the seamless transfer and movement of promoted employees to their respective branches.
4. Employee Engagement
- Culture Building: Organize and execute regional employee engagement activities to foster a positive, high-energy work culture.
- Feedback Loops: Conduct regular feedback and skip-level sessions to understand employee needs and align them with broader organizational goals.
5. Strategic HR Activities
- Competitor Mapping: Maintain, update, and leverage competitor market data for strategic talent mapping.
- Corporate Alignment: Seamlessly drive and support the localized implementation of corporate HR initiatives.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: Graduate in any stream; Postgraduate degree/diploma in Human Resources or a relevant field is highly desirable.
- Experience: 26 years of progressive experience in HR with a strong foundational understanding of core HR processes. (Note: Please verify/adjust this experience range).
- Core Expertise: Practical, hands-on experience in Employee Relations, Performance & Rewards, and Learning & Talent Acquisition.
- Technical Skills: Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint for data tracking and presentations.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Language: Proficiency in the local/regional hiring state language is mandatory.
