About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Backend) to help build and scale our core logistics

platform. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for engineers who enjoy solving complex

technical challenges, designing scalable systems, and taking ownership of backend architecture.

You will work closely with product, frontend, and operations teams to build reliable backend services

that power mission-critical logistics workflows across the country. Youll have significant influence on

technical decisions, architecture, system performance, and the evolution of our platform.

opportunities to build and integrate AI-powered features into our platform.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable backend systems using Python,

Django, and PostgreSQL.

- Own the architecture and technical design of backend services and platform components.
- Build and maintain RESTful APIs, internal services, and third-party integrations.
- Optimize application performance, database queries, and system reliability.
- Design and implement caching, asynchronous processing, and scalability strategies.
- Collaborate with product,



frontend, data, and operations teams to deliver high-impact features.
- Drive engineering best practices around code quality, testing, observability, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot production issues and improve platform resilience and operational excellence.
- Contribute to technical documentation, architecture reviews, and knowledge sharing across the

engineering team.

- Explore and implement AI-powered capabilities such as intelligent workflow automation,

document processing, data extraction, predictive analytics, and LLM-based features where

appropriate.

Requirements

- 4+ years of backend engineering experience, with at least 3 years in Django.
- Robust command over Python, Django ORM, RESTful API design, and PostgreSQL
- Experience with system design, caching strategies, async task queues (e.g., Celery), and

optimizing DB performance.

- Exposure to AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS) and Docker-based deployments.
- Familiarity with observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Sentry).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a product-focused mindset.
- Previous experience in logistics or supply chain tech is a big plus.
- Strong communication skills and experience mentoring engineers or leading teams.
