- Database Architecture: Configure, maintain, backup, and tune Microsoft SQL Server databases supporting engineering workflows.
- Access & Environment Control: Own the Plant Breakdown Structure (PBS), user roles, security policies, and standard catalogs.
- Cross-Functional Integration: Facilitate seamless, zero-loss data exchange between SPEL, SPI, SP3D, and SmartPlant Foundation (SPF).
- Data Auditing & Imports: Validate bulk industrial components and load legacy information via the SPEL Import Manager.
- Technical Support: Apply system updates, deploy patches, and troubleshoot high-priority design bugs for project engineers
Preferred candidate profile
- Education: Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Instrumentation, or Computer Science Engineering.
- Technical DNA: Proven experience handling Hexagon SPEL environments coupled with MS SQL Server administration (Queries, Stored Procedures, Indexing).
- Industry Domain: Robust background working inside global EPC setups handling complex Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or Power projects
