Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and experienced Site Engineer to manage the execution of HDD, OFC laying, duct installation, and related telecom infrastructure works. The candidate will be responsible for planning, execution, quality control, site coordination, documentation, and timely completion of projects while ensuring compliance with client requirements and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, execute, and supervise Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD) works for underground OFC installation.
- Supervise duct laying, trenching, cable blowing/pulling, and restoration activities.
- Conduct route surveys and verify approved drawings before execution.
- Coordinate with client representatives, local authorities, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Monitor project progress and ensure timely completion as per project schedules.
- Ensure compliance with quality standards, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Prepare Daily Progress Reports (DPR), measurement sheets, billing support documents, and site records.
- Manage manpower, machinery, materials, and subcontractors effectively.
- Resolve technical and operational issues encountered during execution.
- Coordinate testing, commissioning,



and project handover activities.
- Maintain complete project documentation and report progress to management.

Required Skills

- Experience in HDD, OFC laying, telecom infrastructure, utility, or EPC projects.
- Good understanding of fibre optic cable installation, duct laying, route survey, and HDD execution.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and route maps.
- Strong planning, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.

Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, or related engineering disciplines.

Experience

- 5-10 years in telecom infrastructure, HDD, OFC laying, or EPC projects.

Job Location

- Initial Project Location: Amritsar, Punjab.
- Candidates must be willing to travel extensively and relocate to other project locations across India as per company and project requirements.
- This is a field-based role involving regular site visits and on-site project execution.
