Role & responsibilities

Job Summary:
We are looking for an Application DBA to support database deployments, environment management, and day-to-day database operations in a project-driven setting. The role focuses on application support rather than database infrastructure.Key Responsibilities:

- Support database deployments across QA, UAT, and Production.
- Monitor database performance and troubleshoot SQL, locking, blocking, and job failures.
- Manage database users, security, and access permissions.
- Review database logs, monitor CPU/storage usage, and support backup and recovery.
- Resolve database-related incidents and service tickets.
- Review code changes, support GitHub merges, and execute deployment scripts.
- Work with Agile teams, developers, project managers,



and product owners to support multiple applications.

Required Skills:

- Experience with Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, or Netezza.
- Knowledge of Oracle RAC and Exadata is a plus.
- Experience with database deployments, performance tuning, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with GitHub, ServiceNow, and Jira.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Experience:

- Application DBA or Production Support experience.
- Experience in Data Warehouse/OLAP environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in an Agile environment.
