Purpose/Objective

The Plant Security Head will be responsible for ensuring the safety, security, and protection of personnel, assets, infrastructure, information, and operations at the manufacturing facility.
The role requires developing and implementing robust security frameworks, managing risks, conducting investigations, and ensuring compliance with organizational and statutory security requirements.

Key Responsibilities of Role

- Develop and implement site security policies, SOPs, and emergency response procedures.
- Ensure effective access control, visitor management, vehicle movement control, and material gate pass processes.
- Monitor and strengthen perimeter security, surveillance systems, CCTV monitoring, and command center operations.
Risk Management & Compliance - Conduct security risk assessments, vulnerability analyses, and periodic audits.
- Identify potential threats and implement mitigation measures to safeguard people and assets.
- Ensure compliance with security, safety, and statutory requirements.
- Drive business continuity and crisis management planning for the facility.
Incident Management & Investigations - Lead investigations related to theft, fraud, pilferage, security breaches, and misconduct.
- Prepare incident reports and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Liaise with law enforcement agencies, local administration, intelligence agencies, and emergency services when required.




Asset Protection & Warehouse Security - Ensure the security of critical manufacturing equipment, inventory, warehouses, and high-value assets.
- Implement loss prevention initiatives and strengthen inventory security controls.
- Monitor movement of sensitive materials and ensure adherence to established protocols.
Team Leadership - Lead and manage the plant security team, agency personnel, and contract security workforce.
- Drive performance management, capability building, and training programs.
- Foster a security-conscious culture across the plant.
Stakeholder Management - Collaborate with Operations, Supply Chain, HR, EHS, Projects, and Administration teams to address security risks.
- Provide security guidance for new projects, expansions, and critical business initiatives.
- Present security performance metrics, risks, and improvement initiatives to plant leadership.

Qualifications and Experience

Education: - Graduate in any discipline.
- Preferred: Ex-Armed Forces Officer / Security Forces background.
- Certifications in Security Management, Risk Management, Crisis Management, or Industrial Security will be an added advantage.
Experience Required: - 12–20 years of experience in Industrial Security, Plant Security, Manufacturing Security, Defence, Aerospace, Heavy Engineering, or Large Industrial Operations.
- Experience in managing large-scale security operations, investigations, audits, and crisis response.
- Solid exposure to access control systems, surveillance solutions, command centers, and asset protection programs.
