We are hiring an experienced Engineering Manager / Solution Architect to lead the design, development, and enhancement of a large-scale payment platform. This is a techno-managerial role requiring both hands-on technical expertise and team leadership. The ideal candidate will drive architecture decisions, mentor engineering teams, and ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and high-performance payment solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor software engineering teams.
- Design, review, and optimize scalable application architecture.
- Review and troubleshoot .NET applications to ensure code quality and system performance.
- Drive technical decisions and enforce engineering best practices.
- Integrate applications with banking systems, payment gateways, and third-party APIs.
- Collaborate with product, QA, and business stakeholders for successful project delivery.
- Improve system reliability, scalability, and security.
- Manage hiring, performance evaluations, and technical mentoring of engineers.

Required Experience & Skills

- 8+ years of software development experience.
- 3+ years in an Engineering Manager, Solution Architect, Technical Architect, or similar leadership role.
- Solid hands-on expertise in C#, .NET Core / ASP.NET Core,



and Entity Framework Core.
- Experience with Kafka, Redis, Hangfire (or similar job schedulers), Elasticsearch, and MongoDB.
- Good knowledge of SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
- Experience designing distributed systems and microservices architecture.
- Hands-on experience integrating Banking APIs, Payment Gateways, Financial APIs, or similar third-party services.
- Understanding of webhooks, callbacks, reconciliation, and idempotent transaction processing.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in FinTech, Payments, Banking, Digital Wallets, or Financial Services.
- Exposure to React, TypeScript, Flutter, or Xamarin.
- Experience with system modernization, architecture documentation, or legacy application transformation.
- Understanding of KYC, AML, and regulatory compliance is an added advantage.
