Job Summary

The Civil Supervisor is responsible for supervising civil construction, repair, renovation, and maintenance activities. The role ensures that all work is completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and statutory regulations.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise day-to-day civil construction and maintenance activities.
- Monitor execution of building works, finishing works, roads, drainage, and infrastructure projects.
- Ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, BOQs, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and internal departments.
- Allocate work to technicians, masons, carpenters, plumbers, and labor teams.
- Inspect construction materials to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Monitor workmanship and maintain quality control throughout the project.
- Prepare daily work progress reports and update project status.
- Verify contractor measurements and completed work before billing.
- Ensure proper utilization of manpower, machinery, and construction materials.
- Identify and resolve site-related technical issues.
- Conduct routine inspections of buildings and infrastructure for preventive maintenance.




- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and statutory regulations at the worksite.
- Report delays, quality concerns, and safety hazards to management.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities, material consumption, and site documentation.
- Assist in planning renovation and expansion projects.
- Coordinate with electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other engineering teams for integrated project execution.
- Ensure housekeeping and cleanliness at construction sites.

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- 25 years of experience in civil construction, maintenance, or infrastructure projects.
- Experience in educational institutions, hospitals, commercial buildings, or residential projects is preferred.
- Knowledge of civil construction techniques and building materials.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and structural plans.
- Knowledge of quantity estimation and measurement verification.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and MS Office.
- Robust leadership and team supervision skills.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
