Key Responsibilities

Production Operations

- Manage daily production activities on PU foam assembly lines.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per customer schedules.
- Monitor hourly production and prepare daily production reports.
- Coordinate with Planning, Quality, Maintenance, and Stores to ensure uninterrupted production.
- Ensure smooth material flow to avoid line stoppages.

Process Control

- Monitor PU foam assembly processes and ensure compliance with approved process parameters.
- Implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions.
- Identify production bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Reduce cycle time and improve line efficiency.
- Support new product launches and engineering changes.

Quality Management

- Ensure First Pass Yield (FPY) and product quality meet customer requirements.
- Minimize rejection, rework, and customer complaints.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (5 Why, Fishbone) and implement CAPA.
- Support PPAP, APQP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and Layered Process Audits.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 quality standards.

Productivity Improvement

- Conduct Line Balancing and Time Studies.




- Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Lead Kaizen, 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Continuous Improvement projects.
- Monitor production KPIs and recommend improvements.

Manpower Management

- Allocate manpower based on production requirements.
- Train operators on work instructions and safety procedures.
- Monitor operator performance and productivity.
- Maintain discipline and promote teamwork.

Safety & Setting

- Ensure compliance with EHS requirements.
- Promote safe handling of PU chemicals and production equipment.
- Conduct safety observations and risk assessments.
- Ensure proper PPE usage and housekeeping.

Maintenance Coordination

- Coordinate with Maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Ensure minimum machine downtime.
- Participate in equipment installation and process validation.

Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare Daily Production Reports.
- Monitor production efficiency, scrap, OEE, and downtime.
- Maintain process records and production documentation.
- Present daily MIS reports to management.
