About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Lead to lead our Quality Assurance team and drive quality across the software development lifecycle. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining QA strategy, leading manual and automation testing efforts, mentoring QA engineers, and ensuring the successful delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and mentor a team of QA Engineers, ensuring the delivery of high-quality software.
- Define and implement QA strategies, testing standards, and best practices.
- Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test strategies for new features and product releases.
- Lead functional, integration, regression, API, performance, and end-to-end testing activities.
- Drive test automation initiatives and improve automation coverage across products.
- Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and DevOps teams throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Manage the defect lifecycle, conduct defect triage, and ensure timely resolution of issues.
- Participate in release planning, release readiness reviews, and production validation.
- Track quality metrics and drive continuous improvements in QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Support hiring, mentoring, coaching, and performance development of QA team members.

Qualifications & Technical Expertise

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.




- 8- 12 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, with at least 2- 4 years of experience leading QA teams.
- Strong experience in manual and automation testing within Agile/Scrum development environments.
- Hands-on experience with automation frameworks such as Selenium WebDriver, Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools.
- Proficiency in Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript for developing and maintaining automation frameworks and test scripts.
- Experience in API testing using Postman, REST Assured, SoapUI, or similar tools, with a strong understanding of REST APIs, JSON, and XML.
- Hands-on experience with performance and load testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or Gatling.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, database testing, and backend data validation.
- Experience integrating automated testing into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
- Experience using test management and defect tracking tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail, Zephyr, or Xray.
- Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience working on enterprise SaaS, FinTech, Banking, or other large-scale business applications is preferred.
- Knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, and modern Quality Engineering practices is an added advantage.
- ISTQB or other relevant software testing certifications are preferred.
- Excellent leadership, analytical, problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and team mentoring skills.
