Key Responsibilities:

Teaching & Academic Duties:

- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical training sessions to medical students and residents.

- Organize and lead case discussions, journal clubs, CME programs, and workshops.

Research Responsibilities:

- Conduct high-impact research in diagnostic imaging or interventional radiology.

- Publish research articles in peer-reviewed journals.

- Apply for grants and actively participate in collaborative research.

Clinical Responsibilities:

- Interpret diagnostic imaging studies (X-ray, CT, MRI, USG, etc.).

- Supervise and perform image-guided procedures (as applicable).

- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and clinical audits.

- Ensure adherence to quality assurance and radiation safety protocols.

Administrative & Leadership:

- Assist in departmental administration, policy-making, and strategy.

- Mentor junior faculty and contribute to faculty development initiatives.

- Participate in accreditation processes and compliance with NMC/MCI/ACGME or other regulatory standards.

- Represent the department in academic and professional forums.

Qualifications:





For Professor:

- MD/DNB in Radiology from a recognized university.

- Minimum 8-10 years of teaching experience after post-graduation, with at least 4-5 years as Associate Professor (as per regulatory norms).

- Proven track record of research, teaching, and clinical excellence.

- Minimum of 4-5 indexed publications in national/international journals.

For Associate Professor:

- MD/DNB in Radiology from a recognized university.

- Minimum 5 years of teaching experience after post-graduation.

- Demonstrated experience in teaching, research, and diagnostic radiology.

- At least 2-3 publications in indexed journals.

Desirable Skills & Attributes:

- Expertise in advanced imaging techniques (CT, MRI, Interventional Radiology).

- Excellent communication and leadership skills.

- Familiarity with digital teaching tools and PACS/RIS.

- Commitment to continuous career development and medical ethics.
