• Assist doctors during normal deliveries, obstetric procedures, and emergency cases • Monitor maternal vital signs, fetal heart rate, labour progress, and patient condition • Prepare and maintain labour room equipment, instruments, and emergency trays • Provide immediate newborn care after delivery • Assist in neonatal resuscitation and emergency management as per protocol • Administer medications and IV fluids as advised by the doctor • Maintain accurate labour room records and nursing documentation • Follow infection control, patient safety, and biomedical waste management protocols • Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and attendants • Coordinate with obstetricians, pediatricians, anesthetists, and other clinical staff
