Job Summary

We are seeking a Site Engineer who will be responsible for field-level execution of data logger installation, configuration, and troubleshooting at customer sites

This role involves close coordination with the in-house tech support team to ensure smooth deployment of TrackSo s monitoring solutions

You ll travel frequently across the region (and occasionally pan-India) to visit solar plants and other facilities

Responsibilities

- Visit client sites to install, configure, and troubleshoot data loggers and sensors

- Coordinate remotely with the technical support team for device setup and live testing

- Ensure successful commissioning and reporting of the installed devices

- Maintain installation quality standards and ensure documentation is completed

- Provide basic in office training to customer personnel when required

- Follow safety and operational procedures during field visits

- Record and escalate any technical issues encountered during site visits

Requirements




- Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, or related field

- 0 2 years of field experience in electrical/IoT/Solar industry (freshers can also apply)

- Basic understanding of data loggers, sensors, and communication protocols (RS485, Modbus, TCP/IP) is a plus

- Comfortable using tools and basic electrical instruments

- Willingness to travel (50% or more of the time)

- Good communication skills and ability to coordinate with remote teams

- Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently in the field

Good to Have
- Previous experience in solar or energy monitoring projects

- Understanding of cloud-based monitoring systems

- Familiarity with basic networking (LAN, Wi-Fi, SIM-based communication)
