Role & responsibilities

- Customer and material master data
- Order-to-Cash (order capture, pricing, availability check, delivery, billing)
- Logistics execution, foreign trade, and legal compliance
- Country-specific invoicing and statutory requirements
- Customize and enhance SD components, including IDocs, Adobe Forms, and other integrations related to orders and invoices.
- Integrate SAP SD with other SAP modules such as MM, FI, SCM, and Service Management to ensure seamless end-to-end business processes.
- Analyse business processes and develop, implement, and optimize solution concepts in close collaboration with business departments and SAP teams (including coordination with the SAP department in Germany).
- Lead and manage the SAP Support India team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support for both functional and technical tasks.
- Provide comprehensive support and continuous improvement of the SAP logistics system landscape, focusing on SD.




- Participate in department-specific and cross-functional projects; manage sub-projects within larger implementations.
- Able to write, modify, and debug ABAP programs directly in the SAP ECC setting, including custom reports, user exits, enhancement implementations, and small automations required for day-to-day SD operations.

Preferred candidate profile

- Deep knowledge of SAP SD business processes: order-to-cash, pricing, status management, order processing, billing, logistics, and compliance
- Hands-on SAP SD configuration and customizing skills
- Integration skills across other SAP modules: MM, PP, FICO
- SAP development skills: ABAP, Smart forms, SAPScript, Adobe Forms, LSMW
- Experience in 23 full life cycle global SAP implementations, including complex environments with multiple legal entities
- Practical knowledge of local legal requirements for invoicing and compliance
- Experience with IDoc troubleshooting and Adobe Form enhancements
