Key Responsibilities:

- Calibrate and set up mills, lathes or routers by installing chucks, attachments, and cutting tools.
- Material Handling: Safely load raw materials or castings into the feed mechanism and ensure precise alignment
- Quality Control: Conduct test runs and utilize precision measuring tools (e.g., micrometers, calipers, gauges) to verify that finished parts meet exact tolerance requirements.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and job specifications
- Change tools and offsets as required
- Maintain production records and complete job documentation
- Keep the machine and work area clean and organized
- Follow safety procedures and wear the required PPE
- Work with supervisors and the quality team to achieve production targets.
