About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our execution team for Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM) projects. The candidate will be responsible for site-level electrical execution, including pump house electrification, transformer installation, panel wiring, SCADA/automation coordination, and ensuring compliance with electrical safety and quality standards across water supply infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Execute electrical works at JJM project sites including overhead/underground cabling, transformer erection, DG set installation, and control panel wiring.
- Coordinate with DISCOM/electricity board for new power connections, load sanctioning, and meter installations.
- Supervise installation and commissioning of pumps, motors, VFDs, starters, and MCC/PCC panels.
- Ensure proper earthing, lightning protection, and electrical safety measures at pump houses, OHTs, and ESRs.
- Prepare and maintain electrical BOQs, material indents, drawings, and as-built documentation.
- Liaise with SCADA/instrumentation teams for integration of electrical systems with monitoring/automation setups.
- Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical equipment as per IS standards and client specifications.
- Monitor contractor/vendor work quality, ensure adherence to project timelines and safety protocols.
- Maintain daily progress reports, material reconciliation, and site documentation for billing and audits.




- Coordinate with government departments (PHED/Jal Nigam/Rural Water Supply) for approvals and inspections.
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements (electrical inspectorate approvals, safety certifications).
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and provide timely resolution to avoid project delays.
- Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong knowledge of LT/HT electrical systems, transformers, DG sets, and pump automation.
- Familiarity with JJM/rural water supply scheme execution is highly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with electrical panel wiring, cabling, and testing procedures.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD (electrical drawings), MS Office, and site documentation tools.
- Understanding of electrical safety codes, IS standards, and statutory compliance (Electrical Inspectorate).
- Positive coordination skills to liaise with contractors, DISCOMs, and government authorities.
- Ability to work independently at remote/rural site locations.
- Strong problem-solving and site supervision abilities.
- Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in Jal Jeevan Mission, PHED, Jal Nigam, or rural infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to SCADA/RTU/telemetry systems for water supply automation.
- Valid electrical supervisor/wireman license (as applicable per state regulations).
- Willingness to relocate/travel extensively across project sites.
