About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Shift In-Charge – Production to oversee manufacturing operations during assigned shifts and ensure smooth, safe, and efficient production. The ideal candidate should have strong shop-floor exposure, excellent team handling skills, and a proactive approach towards productivity, quality, and continuous improvement.

Candidates with experience in Tube Mill Operations will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and manage production activities during the assigned shift.
- Ensure production targets are achieved as per the production plan.
- Monitor product quality and ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Lead and manage shop-floor manpower to maximize productivity and maintain discipline.
- Coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize machine downtime and improve equipment availability.
- Ensure compliance with all safety, housekeeping (5S), and company procedures.
- Maintain daily production records, shift reports, and machine performance data.




- Identify process improvement opportunities and implement Lean Manufacturing initiatives.
- Train and guide machine operators to improve operational efficiency and skill levels.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams for smooth production flow.
- Troubleshoot production issues and take timely corrective actions.

Desired Candidate Profile

- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (Minimum).
- 5–8 years of experience in a manufacturing industry.
- Experience in Tube Mill Operations will be an added advantage.
- Good understanding of production processes, quality systems, and manufacturing practices.
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement tools.
- Solid leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle shop-floor manpower effectively.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts.
