We are looking for a passionate and student-focused Student Counselor to guide prospective students in choosing the right learning path based on their career goals, interests, and background. The ideal candidate should possess excellent communication and counseling skills, understand students' aspirations, and help them make informed decisions about our programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Counsel prospective students and parents regarding courses, career opportunities, and learning paths.
- Understand students' educational background, interests, and career goals to recommend suitable programs.
- Handle inbound and outbound counseling calls, WhatsApp chats, and walk-in inquiries.
- Follow up with interested students and nurture leads until enrollment.
- Explain course curriculum, program benefits, fee structure, and admission process.
- Maintain accurate records of student interactions in the CRM.
- Achieve monthly admission and conversion targets.
- Build strong relationships with students by providing a positive counseling experience.
- Coordinate with academic and support teams to ensure a smooth admission process.
- Stay updated with industry trends and Sheryians' course offerings.
Required Skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong counseling, convincing, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to understand students' needs and provide the right guidance.
- Good follow-up and relationship management skills.
- Basic computer knowledge and familiarity with CRM tools is a plus.
- Positive attitude, empathy, and a student-first approach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in student counseling, academic counseling, admissions, sales, or EdTech is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a robust learning attitude are also encouraged to apply.
