Job Summary

We are looking for a highly skilled Development Engineer to support part and fixture development, supplier coordination, and engineering validation activities. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in mechanical design, supplier interaction, and testing of complex mechanical assemblies.

Key Responsibilities

- Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and manage Bill of Materials (BOM) for parts and assemblies.
- Coordinate with suppliers for the development of parts and fixtures, including castings, sheet metal, plastic parts, cables, and test/assembly fixtures (experience in at least three categories).
- Perform part and assembly verification by reviewing supplier reports, conducting basic inspections, fitment checks, and assembly-level tests, and preparing summary reports.
- Use Creo for CAD tasks to support product development and validation activities.
- Support engineering testing and documentation, including Pull Tests, Vibration Tests, Thermal Tests, and related validation activities.
- Assist in assembly builds,



formal Verification & Validation (V&V;) activities, and SSRS testing.

Required Skills & Qualifications

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Hands-on experience in fixture design and mechanical component development.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in part development, supplier coordination, and GD&T; interpretation.
- Proficiency in Creo or equivalent CAD software, with robust knowledge of GD&T.;
- Strong understanding of mechanical design principles, manufacturing processes, and engineering testing.
- Experience in assembly verification, fitment validation, and manufacturing support.
- Good knowledge of Bill of Materials (BOM) management and engineering documentation.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing partners.
