About the Role

FinBox is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to lead one of our core engineering teams responsible for building highly scalable fintech infrastructure. This role combines technical leadership, people management, and product ownership to deliver reliable, enterprise-grade platforms. Youll lead a team of engineers while partnering with Product, Design, and Business teams to architect, build, and scale high-performance distributed systems that power financial institutions across multiple markets.

What Youll Do

- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of 10+ engineers.
- Drive architecture, engineering best practices, and technical excellence across the product lifecycle.
- Partner with Product Managers and cross-functional stakeholders to define roadmaps and deliver business outcomes.
- Design and evolve scalable, resilient, and secure microservices-based architectures for mission-critical fintech products.
- Own system reliability, scalability, observability, and operational excellence.
- Drive technical strategy by reducing architectural complexity, managing technical debt, and improving engineering productivity.
- Champion engineering excellence through design reviews, code quality, CI/CD best practices, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of ownership, collaboration, innovation,



and customer-centric thinking.

What Were Looking For

- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3+ years leading high-performing engineering teams.
- Strong technical foundation with hands-on experience building large-scale backend systems using any up-to-date programming languages.
- Deep expertise in distributed systems, microservices architecture, API-first platforms, etc.
- Strong system design skills with the ability to make pragmatic architectural decisions balancing scalability, reliability, security, and performance.
- Good understanding of AWS services, cloud infrastructure, and best practices for deploying, scaling, and optimizing applications.
- Experience building and operating highly available, resilient systems in cloud environments with modern DevOps and CI/CD practices.
- Proven track record of delivering complex products while mentoring engineers and driving technical excellence.
- Experience in FinTech, B2B SaaS, or other high-growth product companies is preferred..
