- Role Purpose: Act as the Owner's Engineer, providing independent technical assurance over design, engineering and construction quality, safety and safeguarding SSISPLs technical and safety interests throughout delivery.
- Strategic Responsibilities:
- Develop and apply the Owner's technical assurance framework design review protocol, QA/QC audit programme and stage-gate technical sign-offs in coordination with the Project Head.
- Validate contractor and consultant design deliverables and method statements against Grade A specification and applicable codes.
- Flag material technical risks (structural, MEP, faade, life-safety) to the Project Head with mitigation recommendations.
- Support technical due diligence on value-engineering proposals and significant change orders.
- Operational Responsibilities:
- Conduct periodic site technical audits and track non-conformances to closure.
- Review and countersign contractor test/inspection reports prior to stage payment certification.
- Coordinate with design consultants, structural/MEP contractors and third-party certifying agencies.
