Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced QA / QC Manager to lead the Quality Assurance & Quality Control function for our Railway Wagon Manufacturing operations. The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring compliance with RDSO standards, customer specifications, ISO Quality Systems, and internal quality procedures throughout the manufacturing process.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the QA/QC function for wagon manufacturing operations.
- Ensure compliance with RDSO, Indian Railways, and customer quality requirements.
- Develop and implement Quality Assurance Plans (QAP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), SOPs, and quality documentation.
- Monitor quality across fabrication, welding, machining, assembly, painting, and final inspection.
- Supervise NDT activities including UT, RT, MT, PT & VT.
- Coordinate inspections with RDSO, customer representatives, and third-party inspection agencies.
- Conduct internal quality audits and implement CAPA for quality improvements.
- Manage non-conformance reports (NCR), root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and maintenance of inspection records.
- Drive initiatives to reduce rejection, rework, and quality-related losses.
- Lead and mentor QA/QC Engineers and Inspectors.
