Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Planning Engineer Ports Marine to support the planning, coordination, and delivery of marine infrastructure projects. The candidate will be involved in preparation and review of Feasibility Studies, Techno-Economic Feasibility Reports (TEFR), Detailed Project Reports (DPR), master planning, project scheduling, and bid support for ports, harbors, terminals, waterfront developments, and marine structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review Detailed Project Reports (DPRs), Techno-Economic Feasibility Reports (TEFRs), Feasibility Studies, and Pre-Feasibility Reports for ports and marine infrastructure projects.
- Develop project implementation plans, project schedules, milestones, and resource-loaded programs using Primavera P6/MS Project.
- Coordinate with multi-disciplinary teams including marine, coastal, structural, geotechnical, environmental, and transportation experts.
- Conduct project planning, scheduling, monitoring, and progress tracking for various marine and port projects.
- Support preparation of port master plans, cargo traffic assessments, capacity analysis, and infrastructure planning studies.
- Assist in techno-commercial evaluations, bid documentation, RFPs, and tender support activities.
- Monitor project timelines, identify delays, conduct variance analysis, and recommend corrective actions.
- Prepare presentations, project reports, dashboards, and client deliverables.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, clients, consultants, and government agencies for project execution and approvals.
- Support business development initiatives by preparing technical proposals and project methodologies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor''s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Master''s degree/specialization in Port Harbour, Coastal, Marine Engineering, Transportation, Infrastructure Planning, or Construction Management preferred.
- 38 years of experience in planning and consultancy for Ports, Marine, Coastal, Harbors, Terminals, Jetties, Shipyards, Waterfront, or Maritime Infrastructure Projects.
Additional Information
- Proficiency in Primavera P6, MS Project, MS Excel, PowerPoint, and project monitoring tools.
- Robust report writing, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
