- Perform different types of testing as per the test plan or customer spec
- Develop and assemble wiring harnesses in accordance with technical specifications.
- Read and interpret wiring diagrams, wire lists, Bills of Materials (BOM), and assembly instructions.
- Perform precise crimping and soldering of wires and components.
- Conduct thorough quality checks, including continuity testing and visual inspection for any physical damage, ensuring correct assembly.
- Take electrical measurements of wiring harnesses to verify compliance with specifications.
Qualification and Skills
- BE/Diploma in Electrical Engineering
- Proven experience in wiring harness assembly and development processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and schematics.
- In-depth knowledge of wiring harness components such as wires,
terminals, seals, taping, ferrules, and sleeves.
- Strong understanding of crimping and soldering processes.
Skill Set
- Basic engineering knowledge and testing knowledge
- Proven experience in wiring harness assembly and development processes.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documentation, including wiring diagrams and schematics.
- In-depth knowledge of wiring harness components such as wires, terminals, seals, taping, ferrules, and sleeves.
- Strong understanding of crimping and soldering processes.
Experience
- 3 to 6 years of experience in a testing & wiring harness
