Role Overview

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Project Associate to join our Growth & Transformation team. In this role, you will coordinate cross-functional new product development projects from concept to commercialization, ensuring timely execution, effective communication, and alignment across R&D;, manufacturing, regulatory, commercial, and support functions.

This role requires an active, hands-on presence, including regular meetings with concerned departments to optimize the time in which Macsen brings a new product to the market.

Key Responsibilities

- End-to-End Project Tracking: Monitor and manage project timelines from early-stage R&D;, through pilot scale-up, to final commercial production, including regular updates on project management platform
- Regular Meetings & Collaboration: Conduct regular meetings at manufacturing facilities to engage directly with production, plant engineering, and the tech-transfer team
- Cross-Functional Engagement: Coordinate across R&D;, Production, Tech Transfer, QA, Regulatory Affairs, Procurement and Commercial teams to ensure alignment on project priorities, deliverables and timelines.
- Milestone Monitoring: Organize and engage in regular inter-departmental review meetings, track action items, identify potential risks, and proactively explicit roadblocks
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, checklists, and dashboards,



as well as provide regular progress updates to the teams
- Market Research: Work on market intelligence projects for new products that are being evaluated by Macsens portfolio team
- Strategic Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, raw materials, technologies, and alternate sourcing opportunities that enhance competitiveness, improve supply security, or optimize costs.
- Process Improvement: Continuously identify opportunities to improve project workflows, coordination mechanisms and internal systems to reduce development timelines and enhance execution efficiency.

Key Requirements

- Education: Bachelors in Science, B. Pharm, Chemistry, or a related scientific discipline.
- Experience: 0-2 years of experience. Prior industry experience is not essential. We are looking for individuals who are intellectually curious, self-driven, proactive, and eager to learn.
- Communication Skills: Good negotiation and communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between multiple departments
- Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word for data analysis and documentation. Familiarity with AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini) and the ability to effectively leverage them for research, analysis, and productivity.
- Facility Coordination: Willingness to travel regularly to manufacturing facilities for project reviews and stakeholder coordination.
