- Coordination and monitoring of transport planning operations
- Coordination with logistics service providers to maintain adequete fleet on daily basis
- Co-ordination with all stake holders for irregular and interplant movements across MSIL dept.
- Query Resolution of ROs and ZOs for dispatches.
- Freight Revision on account of Diesel and Toll changes on monthly and Quarterly basis
- Performance Management of all LSPs for various performance parameters like Ontime, Damages etc.
- Inspection of New Fleet in MSIL system inline with CMVR rules and regulations
- Coordination with Government agencies
- Competition Tracking
- Vendor Payments related to irregular movements
- Freight Management through Zero Based Costing and/or RFQs
- Monitoring trips through GPS, management of GPS devices along with the device requirements
