Job Description Retail Pharmacist

Position: Retail Pharmacist

Key Responsibilities:

- Dispense prescription medicines accurately as per the doctor's prescription.
- Verify prescriptions for completeness, dosage, and potential drug interactions.
- Counsel customers on the proper use, dosage, storage, and possible side effects of medicines.
- Maintain stock levels, monitor expiry dates, and ensure proper storage of medicines.
- Ensure compliance with Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) regulations and company SOPs.
- Handle billing, inventory management, and documentation related to pharmacy operations.
- Coordinate with doctors, healthcare professionals, and store staff to ensure quality customer service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy.
- Assist customers with OTC medicines and healthcare products.




- Adhere to all legal, ethical, and regulatory requirements related to pharmacy practice.

Eligibility:

- Qualification: D.Pharm / B.Pharm / M.Pharm
- Valid PCI Registration is mandatory.
- Freshers and experienced candidates are welcome to apply.
- Valuable communication and customer service skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.

Preferred Skills:

- Strong knowledge of medicines and pharmaceutical products.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and under pressure.
