Job Summary:The Benefit Consultant is a crucial role in our organization and a subject matter expert for the Dayforce HCM Benefits module and Managed Benefits offering. As a Benefit Consultant, you will provide in-depth analysis and recommend solutions to business problems. You will triage complex inquiries and issues from internal and external partners, leveraging technical and analytical skills to provide solutions.
Individual Responsibilities

- Audits: Comparing and Analyzing Data sets using V-Lookups and ad-hoc reporting skills.
- Customer Meetings and Health: Assess customer health using our team s defined process to ensure we mitigate any risk to our business.
- Lead client facing calls with agendas and action logs.
- Subject Matter Expert: This role is a subject matter expert for the Dayforce HCM Benefits module and Managed Benefits offering and provides in-depth analysis and recommends solutions to business problems.
- Benefit Recalculations: Perform benefit recalculations and analyze recalculation results to ensure there are no issues.
- Configuration: Understand and explain systems features and benefit plan setups. Identify issues related to perks, taking a global approach by recognizing issues and researching all other customers to determine if they are also impacted.
- Testing: Test changes to plan configuration and release items impacting benefits throughout the year and during Open Enrollment.
- File Monitoring: Ensure benefit exports are successfully transmitted from Dayforce to the customers Carriers.
- Project Oversight:
Provide project oversight for Open Enrollment projects, ensuring all deliverables are completed and Managed Benefits best practice and standards are consistently met. Coordinate with other internal teams to drive resolutions.
- Carrier Communications & File Tasks: Coordinate with benefit carriers during Open Enrollment to understand their file requirements. Efficiently complete all necessary file-related tasks, ensuring uninterrupted coverage for our customers employees.
- Process Improvements: Participate in process improvement projects and recommend product enhancements that will benefit our customers or the Managed support model.
- Customer Satisfaction: Maintain the highest level of customer satisfaction through a detailed understanding of the customers business needs and business practices.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years in US benefits is required.
Education: A high school diploma or GED is required. A bachelor s degree in business, human resources, or equivalent experience is desired.
Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, time management skills, strong customer focus, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to work individually and in a team environment.
Knowledge: Proficiency in auditing large data sets, organizing data, and summarizing findings. Ability to recognize complex problems, analyze situations, and provide suggested resolution.
