Position Overview:

The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, maintenance, and optimization of the organization's network infrastructure to ensure high availability, security, and performance. This role provides technical leadership in planning and deploying scalable network solutions, managing complex network
environments, and supporting critical business operations. The Senior Network Engineer proactively monitors network performance, troubleshoots and resolves advanced technical issues, and drives continuous improvements across network systems, hardware, software, and security architecture. Working closely with cross-functional IT teams and stakeholders, this position plays a key role in strategic
decision-making, infrastructure modernization, and the adoption of emerging technologies to support organizational growth and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

Troubleshoot, Diagnose, and resolve problems and implement and design network solutions.

Maintain and control computer networks and any computer environments that are related to configurations, hardware programs software, and structures software.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve software, hardware, and other network and system problems.
Design and implement effective solutions to improve the sustainability of modern surroundings.
Perform disaster recovery operations and record backups when required.
Monitor overall network performance to decide if changes need to be made.




Configure routing and switching equipment. They need to support all users, including team members and clients, and fix any issues.

They may also have to design their own networks.
Engineers provide support for system installation and define, document, and implement system standards.

They secure network systems by setting up and applying policies and defining and overseeing access.

Required Skills & Experience:

Bachelors degree in the field of computer science or something related to technology.
Solid understanding of network infrastructure and hardware.
Specialist courses that can enable you to get the skills and knowledge needed regarding networking certifications. Some of these include:
CCIE (Cisco)
CCNP (Cisco)
Network+ (CompTIA)
WCNA (Wireshark)
Engineers should be able to think through problems and provide solutions to them.
Ease to learn quickly about advancing technology and product developments.
Knowledge in network security, LAN, and WAN.
Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Knowledge:

Strong understanding of network security principles and VPN connectivity to support remote workers.
In-depth knowledge of network services (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and protocols (OSPF, BGP, SDWAN).
Comprehensive understanding of networking systems, including LANs,
firewalls, routers, and switches.

Shift timing and working hours:

Night shifts /EST
Monday to Friday / Fixed working days
