- Establish and maintain effective Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) processes at supplier locations.
- Lead supplier quality activities for Electrical, Electronics, and Rubber commodities.
- Conduct new supplier assessments and periodic supplier re-evaluations.
- Identify supplier gaps and implement corrective action and improvement plans.
- Plan and execute supplier audits as per the approved audit schedule.
- Monitor supplier quality performance and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Review and validate new part development activities in coordination with suppliers and internal teams.
- Facilitate technical discussions between suppliers and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Ensure implementation of quality plans and inspection standards at supplier facilities.
- Track and close supplier NCRs through effective root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Verify the availability and effectiveness of tooling, fixtures, gauges, and inspection equipment at supplier sites.
- Ensure routine testing and quality compliance before component dispatch.
- Publish supplier performance reports and KPI dashboards for management review.
- Promote First Time Right (FTR) culture and monitor monthly performance metrics.
- Coordinate with Supplier Development, Quality, Engineering, and Procurement teams for supplier and product development.
- Robust knowledge of electrical components, including their design, manufacturing processes, testing procedures, etc.
- 10-15 years of experience in Supplier Quality Assurance or similar role in the auto components industry.
- Bachelor's degree in Any Specialization (B.Tech / B.E.).
