Subject Matter Expert (SME) Pneumatic system
Position Purpose

Lead the design, development, validation, and optimization of pneumatic systems, modules, and components for textile machinery applications, ensuring performance, quality, manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop pneumatic systems, modules, and components, including selection and sizing of pneumatic equipment for textile machinery applications.
- Drive DFM and DFA activities to improve manufacturability, quality, and cost competitiveness.
- Conduct technical reviews with suppliers and support component development and validation.
- Create and maintain 2D/3D models, assemblies, drawings, material specifications, and BOMs.
- Apply GD&T; principles, tolerance stack-up analysis, and engineering calculations for components and assemblies.
- Perform DFMEA, risk assessment, design validation, and engineering analysis.
- Develop design guidelines, checklists, RCA, and CAPA documentation. Coordinate with Manufacturing, Production Engineering, Quality, Procurement, Suppliers, and End Users for new product introduction and problem resolution.




- Resolve customer complaints and support troubleshooting activities using structured problem-solving tools such as 5W+2H, 8D, and QCC.

Desired Profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Engineering Design with relevant industrial experience.
- Strong domain expertise in Pneumatic Engineering, Circuit Design, and Layout Design.
- Proficiency in 2D & 3D CAD modeling and engineering documentation.
- Knowledge of ISO/JIS standards related to pneumatic systems.
- Experience in IPR creation, patent study, and innovative product development.
- Solid analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to deliver quality solutions within committed project time-lines.
