- Understand Projects requirement and incorporate the same into building safety guidelines and norms
- Support the Head- Execution to formulate safety strategy based on criticality of requirements and quality specifications
- Ensure the project is compliant to the regulatory policies and guidelines
- Conduct safety meetings, audits, and inspections to ensure compliance
- Provide guidance on safety and confirm that project fulfills industry, state and local guidelines and regulation
- Prepare and enforce policies to establish a culture of safety and ensure implementation of mechanisms for safety
- Ensure all work is performed in accordance with approved guidelines, internal policies and procedures
- Develop action plans to manage emergency situation at the project site
- Implement and manage safety programs at the project site
Ensure proper usage of safety equipment in the plant and ensure regulatory and legal compliance to safety norms
