Cluster Partnerships & Placements Lead

1. Core Responsibilities

- Employer Tie-ups & Closures: Onboard local BFSI employers; drive hiring connects, walk-ins, and placement closures; manage MOU documentation and commercial alignment with FinX corporate office
- Placements: Own end-to-end student lifecyclepool creation, role mapping, interviews, offers, and joining conversion (incl. backlog students)
- College Engagement: Build robust TPO relationships; align colleges on student readiness, data flow, and campus drives
- Trainer Coordination: Identify placement-ready students early; ensure continuous placement focus during training
- CSR, Financial Awareness & Institutional Partnerships: Drive college tie-ups for FinX CSR programs; execute financial literacy and financial awareness sessions, career workshops, and employability initiatives across campuses and communities
- Business Development (via CSR & Placements): Convert CSR and placement engagements into new opportunities—employer partnerships, training mandates, and sponsored programs
- MIS & Governance: Maintain real-time pipeline data (students, interviews, offers, joinings); flag risks and ensure reporting discipline

2. Local Recruiter Tie-Ups & Employer Engagement

- Identify, approach, and onboard local employers — banks, NBFCs, insurance companies, MFIs, and fintech firms — within the assigned district cluster
- Build and maintain an active district-level recruiter database with job requirements, hiring timelines, and salary benchmarks
- Negotiate and formalise placement tie-ups with local HR teams and branch managers
- Organise Employer Connect sessions, Walk-in Drives, and Campus-to-Corporate events within the district
- Proactively pitch CIEL-trained talent: communicate that CPBFI-certified students are BFSI-ready, pre-screened, and placement-focused
- Share regular updates on recruiter pipeline and placement closures with the central CIEL placement team

3. Student Placement Coordination





- Maintain an up-to-date placement-ready student register for the district cluster, synced with the CIEL and FinX placement portals
- Counsel students on resume preparation, interview etiquette, and BFSI role expectations
- Match certified students to suitable job opportunities based on their profile, location preference, and role interest
- Coordinate and facilitate interviews — both campus drives and employer-side walk-ins
- Track and confirm student joining status; follow up on offer letters and onboarding
- Also manage placement of FY26-certified students pending placement from previous batches

4. College TPO / Coordinator Engagement

- Maintain regular, structured contact with Training and Placement Officers (TPOs) and College Coordinators (CCs) of all colleges in the district cluster
- Brief TPOs on available job opportunities and employer requirements; obtain updated student availability data
- Coordinate on-campus placement events in partnership with TPOs
- Ensure colleges are aligned with placement timelines and student documentation requirements (certificates, ID proofs, etc.)
- Flag any college-level challenges — low student availability, academic conflicts, policy restrictions — to the central team

5. Lead Trainer Coordination

- Work in close coordination with the Lead Trainer of the cluster to identify placement-intent students during the training phase itself
- Ensure the Lead Trainer reinforces the placement mandate throughout the programme — not just at certification
- Receive batch-level student data, attendance, and certification status from the Lead Trainer
- Flag students with strong placement potential early; initiate pre-placement preparation before certification

6. Reporting & MIS

- Maintain weekly placement MIS: students placed, interviews scheduled, offers received, joinings confirmed
- Update CIEL Placement Portal and FinX Portal with real-time student and placement data
- Share fortnightly district placement reports with the central CIEL team
- Flag challenges — employer drop-offs, student drop-outs, documentation delays — proactively
