Role Overview
We are looking for a highly skilled and creative Graphic Designer with deep expertise in the packaging industry to join our growing team in Visakhapatnam. The ideal candidate will bring a strong design sensibility, technical mastery in Adobe Suite and CorelDRAW, and a proven track record of delivering compelling packaging artwork and brand communication materials. You will work closely with clients, production teams, and brand managers to create packaging designs that are both visually striking and print-ready.

Key Responsibilities
Packaging Design & Artwork
Design and develop complete packaging solutions including structural layouts, label designs, carton dielines, flexible packaging, and point-of-sale materials.
Prepare accurate, print-ready artwork files ensuring all technical specifications (bleed, trim, safe zones, color profiles) are met for various substrates.
Collaborate with pre-press and production teams to ensure design integrity from concept to final print output.
Develop dieline templates and ensure packaging structures are optimized for production.
Branding & Visual Communication
Create brand identity elements and ensure consistent application across all packaging and marketing collaterals.
Conceptualize and execute creative design solutions aligned with client briefs and brand guidelines.
Develop mood boards, design concepts, and presentations for internal and client reviews.
Artworking & Technical Execution
Produce high-quality artwork using Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, InDesign,



and CorelDRAW.
Manage color separation, Pantone matching, and CMYK/RGB conversion for print and digital outputs.
Handle retouching, image editing, and compositing for product photography used on packaging.
Client & Project Management
Interpret client briefs accurately and translate creative concepts into actionable design solutions.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines and maintaining quality.
Incorporate feedback effectively and manage design revisions in a professional manner.
Coordinate with vendors, printers, and production houses on artwork requirements and proofing.

Required Qualifications & Skills
Education
Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, Fine Arts, or related field.
Additional certifications in Adobe Suite or packaging design are an advantage.
Experience
6 to 10 years of proven skilled experience as a Graphic Designer.
Minimum 4 years of experience specifically in the packaging industry (flexible packaging, rigid boxes, cartons, labels, etc.).
Demonstrated portfolio showcasing packaging design projects across FMCG, food & beverage, pharma, or industrial packaging segments.
Technical Skills (Mandatory)
Adobe Illustrator Advanced (dielines, vector artwork, packaging layouts)
Adobe Photoshop Advanced (image editing, retouching, compositing)
Adobe InDesign Proficient (multi-page documents, catalogs,



brochures)
CorelDRAW Advanced (packaging artwork, technical drawings)
Acrobat Pro Proficient (PDF preflight, proofing, print preparation)
Domain Knowledge
Strong understanding of printing processes: offset, flexo, gravure, digital print, screen printing.
Knowledge of packaging substrates: paper, board, flexible films, laminates, foils, plastics.
Familiarity with dieline construction, structural packaging, and converting processes.
Expertise in color management Pantone, CMYK, spot colors, and ICC profiling.
Understanding of food safety labeling, regulatory compliance, and barcode standards is a plus.

Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Robust time management and ability to prioritize under tight deadlines.
