Job Summary

The Radiology Billing Executive is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing of radiology services, coordinating with patients and internal departments, verifying investigation orders, processing payments, and maintaining billing records in compliance with hospital policies and insurance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Generate and process billing for all radiology investigations and procedures.
- Verify patient details, investigation requests, approvals, and billing eligibility before raising invoices.
- Coordinate with consultants, nursing units, front office, and insurance/TPA teams for billing-related queries.
- Ensure accurate charging of radiology procedures as per approved tariff and package guidelines.
- Process cash, card, online, and insurance-related transactions.
- Handle billing modifications, refunds, discounts, and cancellations as per hospital policies.
- Maintain accurate records of billing transactions and ensure timely reconciliation.
- Assist patients and attendants with billing-related information and queries.
- Coordinate with the finance team for daily cash closure and billing reports.




- Ensure compliance with NABH standards, hospital policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support departmental audits and provide required billing documentation.

Qualification

- Graduate in any discipline (B.Com, BBA, or equivalent preferred).

Experience

- 1 - 5 years of experience in hospital billing, preferably in Radiology, Diagnostics, or Scans.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of hospital billing processes, medical terminology, and radiology procedures.
- Familiarity with HIS/HMIS and billing software.
- Good communication and patient-handling skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to work in a rapid-paced hospital environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
