Experience: -

- 5 to 8 years of relevant experience.

- Candidates must have hands-on experience exclusively in the PEB/Structural Steel Manufacturing Industry.

- Profiles from automobile, FMCG, cement, process industries, or other manufacturing sectors will not be considered.

Qualification: -

- Diploma/B.E. in Mechanical Engineering or Diploma in Industrial Safety / Advanced Diploma in Industrial Safety (ADIS) from a recognized institute.

Job Summary: -

The Safety Incharge will be responsible for implementing and monitoring Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) practices within the PEB manufacturing plant, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company safety standards.

Key Responsibilities: -

- Implement and enforce EHS policies and safety procedures across the plant.

- Conduct daily safety inspections and identify unsafe acts and conditions.

- Ensure safe work practices during fabrication, welding, cutting, blasting, painting, material handling, and loading activities.

- Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and awareness training for employees and contractors.





- Ensure proper use of PPE and compliance with safety requirements.

- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

- Maintain statutory safety records, permits, and compliance documentation.

- Conduct emergency response drills, fire safety inspections, and risk assessments.

- Coordinate with production and maintenance teams to eliminate workplace hazards.

- Ensure compliance with applicable Factory Act provisions, OSHA principles, and company EHS standards.

Required Skills: -

- Strong knowledge of industrial safety, risk assessment, permit-to-work systems, fire safety, and accident investigation.

- Valuable understanding of safety regulations applicable to structural steel and PEB manufacturing.

- Strong leadership, communication, and training skills.
