Role Overview

We are seeking a Japanese-speaking PMO to support manufacturing projects for Japanese clients, acting as the bridge between Japanese stakeholders and Indian operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan, monitor and execute projects while managing schedule, quality and cost.
- Track milestones, identify risks and implement mitigation plans.
- Prepare reports, dashboards and management updates.
- Coordinate with Japanese clients and internal teams.
- Translate business and technical information between Japanese and English.
- Support production, quality improvement, cost optimization and process improvement projects.
- Coordinate with production, quality, procurement and engineering teams.
- Prepare project plans, SOPs, meeting minutes and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with customer and contractual requirements.
- Promote continuous improvement including Kaizen and Lean.

Requirements

- Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical / Industrial / Production preferred).
- MBA or Project Management certification is an advantage.
- 612 years of greenfield manufacturing project management experience.
- Experience working with Japanese companies or clients.
- Experience in JV, technical collaboration or cross-border projects preferred.
- JLPT N2 or above (N1 preferred).
- Business-level English.
- Strong project management, stakeholder management and analytical skills.
- Understanding of Japanese business culture.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced workplace.

Preferred

- Experience in greenfield factory establishment projects for Japanese companies in the Delhi NCR region.
