Roles and Responsibilities :

- Develop and implement effective media strategies to promote the organization's mission, goals, and initiatives through various media channels.
- Build and maintain relationships with key journalists, influencers, and stakeholders to secure coverage in top-tier publications and broadcast outlets.
- Create compelling press releases, pitches, and other written materials that effectively communicate complex information to diverse audiences.
- Monitor media coverage and provide regular reports on the effectiveness of PR efforts.

Job Requirements :

- 5-10 years of experience in corporate communications or public relations within an NGO/social services/industry associations setting.
- Proven track record of success in developing innovative media campaigns that drive results.
- Strong understanding of current events, trends, and issues relevant to the organization's work; ability to stay up-to-date on industry developments.
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills; ability to craft explicit concise messages for diverse audiences.
