Job Description:

Position: Bridge Engineer
Experience: 2 - 5 Years
Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech or M.Tech in Civil Engineering (Structural Engineering/Bridge Engineering or related specialization)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and motivated Bridge Engineer with 25 years of experience in bridge design, analysis, and project execution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering bridge engineering solutions, preparing structural designs and calculations, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and ensuring compliance with applicable design codes and project requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform structural analysis and design of bridges, culverts, flyovers, and other transportation structures.
- Prepare design calculations, technical reports, construction drawings, and design documentation.
- Develop bridge layouts, reinforcement detailing, and structural drawings in coordination with CAD/BIM teams.
- Conduct load rating, structural assessment, rehabilitation, and strengthening studies for existing bridges.
- Coordinate with highway, geotechnical, drainage, and construction teams throughout project development.
- Review drawings, calculations,



and design deliverables to ensure quality and compliance with relevant standards.
- Assist in preparing technical proposals, design reports, quantity estimates, and tender documents.
- Ensure designs comply with IRC, IS, AASHTO, Eurocode, or other applicable client and project standards.
- Support project planning by monitoring schedules, deliverables, and project milestones.

Required Skills:

- Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, prestressed concrete, and steel bridge design.
- Experience with structural analysis and bridge design software such as MIDAS Civil, STAAD.Pro, RM Bridge, CSI Bridge, SAP2000, or LUSAS.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with Civil 3D, Revit, or OpenBridge Designer is an advantage.
- Sound understanding of IRC, IS, AASHTO, Eurocode, or other relevant bridge design standards.
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings and prepare detailed technical documentation.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple assignments while meeting project deadlines.
