Role Summary
The SAP Security Expert / SME will be responsible for end-to-end SAP Security architecture, implementation, and governance across S/4HANA and ECC landscapes. The role requires deep expertise in authorization design, GRC, compliance, and secure SAP operations, with the ability to lead security streams in large transformation and rollout programs.

Key Responsibilities
• Lead SAP Security and Authorization design and implementation for SAP S/4HANA and ECC systems




• Experience as SAP Security Lead in at least two S/4HANA implementation
• Design and maintain role concepts (Single, Composite, Business Roles) aligned with business processes
• Perform authorization mapping for FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, PM, EWM, TM, BW, and Fiori
• Manage user provisioning, role assignments, and access lifecycle (joiner/mover/leaver)
• Troubleshoot and resolve authorization issues using SU53, STAUTHTRACE, SUIM
• Design and implement Fiori security roles (Catalogs, Groups, Spaces & Pages)
• Configure OData and backend authorization objects for Fiori apps
• Integrate Fiori Launchpad security with backend role design
• Support SAP BTP / IAS / IPS security integration (where applicable)
• Lead SAP GRC Access Control implementation and operations (ARA, ARM, EAM, BRM)
• Perform SoD analysis and remediation
• Support internal and external audit requirements (SOX, GxP, ISO, internal audits)
• Define and enforce security governance, policies, and controls
• Define security strategy across DEV–QA–PRD landscapes
• Control and audit transport-related access
• Work closely with BASIS teams on system security hardening
• Act as SAP Security Lead in S/4HANA implementations, rollouts, and upgrades
• Collaborate with functional leads, BASIS, infrastructure, and compliance teams

• User administration & access governance
Technical Knowledge
• SAP transactions: PFCG, SU01, SU53, SUIM, STAUTHTRACE
• Authorization objects across major SAP modules
• Understanding of SAP BASIS and transport management
• Exposure to SAP BTP / Cloud Identity (preferred)
• SOX / GxP / Internal Controls
• Audit support and remediation handling
• Risk and control documentation
