- Robust expertise in LTE/NR PHY Layer, DSP, RF, Antennas
- Expertise in modulation, coding (FEC, LowDensity ParityCheck/ LDPC, Turbo decoding), MIMO, beamforming, Complex I/Q sample processing, FFT / IFFT, Channel estimation & equalization, Modulation / demodulation
- Proficiency in C/C++, MATLAB, realtime embedded systems, FPGA/ASIC/GPU/ based programming
- Experience with fronthaul (CPRI/eCPRI) and L1 acceleration
- PHY/RF software development experience
- Additional years of driving delivery of 4G/5G L1 programs
Roles & Responsibilities
- Design and implement LTE/NR PHY algorithms and procedures
- Review and Mentor high performance L1 teams towards delivery excellence in the following:
- Optimize L1 for latency, throughput, and CPU/DSP/GPU/FPGA utilization
- Interface with Radio/RF, L2, and fronthaul subsystems
- Debug PHY issues using logs, IQ capture, and lab equipment
- Ability to drive large scale 4G/5G L1 product development, sustenance and customer support programs involving multiple variants of eNodeBs/gNodeBs in various forms including vRAN/ORAN/custom
- Ability to communicate with senior levels of internal and external stakeholders
