Roles and Job Responsibilities

Position Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled Master Data Management & ETL Specialist with 45 years of experience in SQL, Microsoft ETL, and Azure Data Factory (ADF). This role is critical to ensure the integrity, quality, and consistency of enterprise data across systems. While MDM knowledge is valuable, the primary focus will be on SQL development, data integration, and ETL processes to support enterprise data initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Microsoft ETL tools and Azure Data Factory.
- Write and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and scripts for data extraction, transformation, and loading.




- Maintain and update master data records in accordance with established data governance policies.
- Perform data quality checks and validations to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to resolve data issues and discrepancies.
- Support data migration, cleansing, and enrichment efforts during system implementations or upgrades.
- Document data standards, definitions, and processes to support consistency across the organization.
- Manage and steward master data across domains (customer, product, carrier, financial) to ensure accuracy and consistency.
- Collaborate with governance and technical teams to align MDM processes with business rules and data quality standards.
- Support MDM initiatives such as hierarchy management, survivorship rules, and golden record creation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

- 45 years of hands-on experience with SQL (queries, optimization, stored procedures).
- Robust experience with Microsoft ETL tools and Azure Data Factory (ADF).
- Solid understanding of data management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with MDM concepts and data governance principles (secondary focus).
- Worked in CI/CD pipeline is good to have.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with MDM systems (e.g., Informatica, Reltio, CluedIn) or other data management tools.
- Prior experience in insurance, finance, or customer data domains.
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and integration solutions.
- Experience with Azure ecosystem (Data Lake, Synapse, etc.) and Snowflake .
