Position: Supply Chain Manager/Supply Chain Head
Location: Bangalore

Reports to: Global SCM Head

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Manager to lead supply planning, S&OP;, logistics, stores and dispatch functions for our Rakon India operations. The role requires robust leadership, deep experience in end-to-end supply chain operations, and the ability to align global supply strategies with local execution. Knowledge of procurement and sourcing is desirable, but the primary focus will be on planning, execution, compliance, and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

1. Supply Planning & S&OP;

- Lead supply planning activities to meet customer demand while optimizing inventory levels.
- Drive pre-S&OP; processes, resolve open actions, and represent supply in S&OP; meetings.
- Collaborate with sales, operations, and global SCM to manage demand, and supply.
- Manage KPIs including DIFOTIS performance and implementing corrective actions where required.
- Coordinate with Master data team

2. Inventory, Stores & Dispatch Management

- Ensure optimized inventory levels, ITO, and days of supply.
- Oversee stores management, stock takes, cycle counts, and variance resolution.
- Monitor stock ageing, slow-moving items, and provisioning levels.
- Ensure adherence to FIFO, ESD, MSDS, MSL, DG, and 5S practices.
- Oversee dispatch operations,



shipping documentation, and domestic/international logistics.

3. Logistics & Compliance

- Manage inbound and outbound logistics, including clearance agencies and compliance with SEZ and export/import regulations.
- Ensure regulatory, safety, and H&S; compliance in all logistics and storage operations.
- Resolve critical supply escalations and manage reverse logistics processes.

4. Leadership & Team Development

- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of supply chain professionals to ensure agility and capability across functions.
- Set measures and KPI’s for the team that align to the global strategy of operational excellence.
- Set annual objectives, conduct quarterly reviews, and ensure clear succession planning.
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and alignment with global supply chain.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering; MBA preferred.
- APICS - CPIM or CSCP certification is highly desirable.
- 15–18 years of progressive experience in supply chain management, preferably in manufacturing/electronics.
- Strong expertise in supply planning, S&OP;, logistics, stores and dispatch.
- Proficiency in SAP for planning, inventory, and logistics management.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional communication skills.
