- Lead Supplier selection and evaluation. Work cross-functionally to establish quality requirements for external suppliers
- Perform PPAP/PRP to check mass production capability
- Assess Design for Manufacturability (DFM) of new product designs and drive improvements.
- Audit supplier facilities to ensure adherence to Bloom requirements
- Manage process development/change management with suppliers to meet Bloom requirements
- Provide disposal action support of suspected part. Drive continuous improvements for all supplier process.
- Deployment of quality tools/methodology for supplier critical process.
- Drive supplier development/execution and deployment of manufacturing processes that meet the BE requirement. Review prototype and production part quality document submissions from suppliers, for acceptability.
- Improve supplier quality processes such as assessments, supplier management, part approval, and corrective actions in a global world of connected / sub tier / partnership relationships
- Lead 8D Report for complaints/Field failures
- Drive Design and Process Failure Modes and Effects Analyses (DFMEA/PFMEA) to assess and improve product designs/processes.
Education, Skills and Experience
Proficient in PCBA standards such as IPC, J-EDEC/ESD/MSD
6-9 Years Experience in Electronics manufacturing Industries
BE/B Tech in Electronics Engineering/Electrical Engineering
Technical Knowledge to demonstrate Product design team/suppliers
Quality Management System auditing experience
Solid communication and interpersonal skill
Proficiency in PowerPoint. Experience, SQC Tools,
Ability to travel 20% - 30% of time
