Designation: Functional Group Leader - Frame

Office Location: Hosur

Position description: As the FGL for Frame, you will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of Frame of our products (2W), ensuring they meet performance, durability, weight and cost targets. You will work cross-functionally with design, engineering, testing, and manufacturing teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance the structural integrity and overall riding experience.

Education Qualification: Btech or MTech in Mechanical Engineering. Advanced Qualifications are an advantage.

Role Description

- Lead the design and development of Frame Architechture and Structures across product lines delivering New Products, adressing problems in current products and developing future technologies.
- Define technical requirements and ensure designs meet performance, durability, weight and cost targets. Co-ordinate effectively to deploy mutually agreed QCD requirements on Frames, steer alignments and discussions within and between CoCs, Quality, Purchasing, Service, Production and Aftersales.
- Review Simulation test procedures and results (FEA,Durability, Dynamics, Package, etc.) and oversee the validation process.
- Conduct Design reviews, update and maintain design guidelines, SoPs, DFMEA related to Frame.
- Mentor the recent engineers for their carreer goals and objectives
- Lead Problem solving initiatives Value Engineering initiatives on Frame and structural Components across product life cycles.
- Manage multiple projects,



prioritize tasks and drive technical decisions in quick time.
- Develop standardised solutions across platform minimising variety in Frames
- Ensure compliance with global safety and regulatory standards.
- Manage supplier relationships for frame across the globe.
