The Company is a leading Tier-1 automotive electronics manufacturer under the Hyundai Motor Group, specializing in Engine Control Units (ECU), Battery Management Systems (BMS), Motor Control Units (MCU), Integrated Charging Control Units (ICCU), powertrain electronics, and other advanced automotive electronic systems for domestic and global OEMs.

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in:
- Electronics & Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)
- Mechanical Engineering
- Mechatronics Engineering

Experience

- 4 - 9 years in Production within:
- Automotive Electronics Manufacturing
- Electronics Manufacturing Services (EMS)
- PCB Assembly (PCBA)
- SMT Manufacturing
- Tier-1 Automotive Manufacturing

Key Roles & Responsibilities

Production Operations

- Execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans to achieve customer delivery commitments.
- Ensure production targets are achieved with optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and materials.
- Monitor production performance and implement corrective actions to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Drive improvements in productivity, efficiency, and throughput.

SMT & PCBA Manufacturing

- Manage SMT production lines including:
- Solder Paste Printing
- Solder Paste Inspection (SPI)
- Pick & Place Machines
- Reflow Oven
- Automated Optical Inspection (AOI)
- In-Circuit Testing (ICT)
- Functional Testing (FCT)





- Ensure compliance with standard operating procedures and process parameters.
- Monitor ESD compliance and product traceability throughout the manufacturing process.

Process Improvement

- Drive Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE).
- Optimize line balancing, cycle time, and manpower utilization.
- Reduce scrap, rework, and process losses through systematic analysis.

Quality Management

- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 requirements and customer-specific standards.
- Coordinate with the Quality team to address in-process quality issues.
- Support APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Control Plan, and Process Flow implementation during new product launches.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and Why-Why Analysis.

Production Planning & Coordination

- Coordinate with PPC to execute production schedules.
- Ensure material availability before production starts.
- Work closely with Stores, Procurement, and Logistics to prevent production interruptions.
- Monitor WIP levels and improve production flow.

Current Product Introduction (NPI)

- Support engineering trials, pilot production, and Start of Production (SOP).
- Coordinate with Manufacturing Engineering and Quality during product launches.
- Implement Engineering Change Notices (ECN) and process changes.

Maintenance Coordination





- Coordinate with the Maintenance team to minimize machine downtime.
- Support preventive and predictive maintenance activities.
- Monitor equipment utilization and production line efficiency.

Cost & Productivity Improvement

- Identify cost-saving opportunities in production processes.
- Improve labour productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.
- Support automation and digital manufacturing initiatives.

Safety & EHS

- Ensure compliance with EHS regulations and company safety standards.
- Maintain 5S and visual workplace practices.
- Ensure adherence to Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) control procedures.

Documentation & Reporting

- Prepare daily production reports and KPI dashboards.
- Maintain production records, machine utilization reports, and traceability documentation.
- Update production transactions in SAP/ERP.
