Assistant Engineer Warehouse

Location: Sri City, Andhra Pradesh
Department: Warehouse / Stores
Experience: Diploma - 4 - 8 Years , BE /B.Tech 2 - 5 Years

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day warehouse and store operations.
- Receive, store, issue, and transfer materials as per production requirements.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and stock verification.
- Perform warehouse transactions in SAP MM.
- Ensure timely availability of materials for production.
- Coordinate with Production, Planning, Procurement, and Logistics teams.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports (MIS).
- Follow FIFO/FEFO and proper material storage practices.
- Maintain warehouse documentation and stock records.
- Support procurement activities and vendor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, 5S, and company SOPs.
- Participate in inventory optimization and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support warehouse audits and maintain accurate documentation.





Required Skills & Qualities

- Experience in Warehouse/Store Management.
- Knowledge of SAP MM.
- Inventory and Material Management.
- MS Excel and MIS Reporting.
- Knowledge of FIFO, FEFO, and stock control.
- Understanding of 5S, Lean practices, and warehouse safety.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Solid problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good time management and ability to work under deadlines.
- Teamwork and leadership abilities.
- Ability to coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Basic knowledge of audit compliance and documentation.
- Willingness to work in shifts, if required.

Preferred Industry

Manufacturing, HVAC, Automotive, Consumer Durables, Electronics, Engineering, or Industrial Manufacturing.
